Giovanni Chiappini Winery

The Giovanni Chiappini Winery farm and agriturismo is located in the heart of the Bolgheri DOC in Tuscany, on the Bolgheri road, the wine route that hosts the largest wine-growing companies in the area. The story is that of a family tradition never dormant and always renewed, which from the head of the family, Giovanni, son of farmers from the Marche who immigrated to Bolgheri in the 1950s, was inherited by the two daughters Martina and Lisa who work alongside their father in the company.

The hallmark of the Chiappini’s work and growth is found in the privileged relationship they hold with the earth. A motherland interpreted and modified in symbiosis with the peasant labor force. An association still alive and never taken for granted. Over time, the company has become known and appreciated all over the world thanks above all to the recognition of very important trade magazines such as Wine Enthusiast, which in 2013 consecrated the main wine of the company, Guado de ‘Gemoli 2009, to the first place of the world rankings with a score of 100/100.

The Agriturismo Tra gli Ulivi is located within the Chiappini farm, consisting of six quiet and comfortable apartments. The Chiappini family runs the farm with dedication and passion by involving guests in rural life, with visits to the crops and tastings of the farm’s products and the possibility of using the products that grow in the garden and orchard for free.
