Saltwater Farm Vineyard is located on a stunning piece of land that used to be a World War II vintage airplane hangar and runway. The property consists of more than 100 acres, 16 of which contain planted grape vines. Some grapes are sourced from the North Fork of Long Island. Saltwater Farm is bordered by tidal marshes, a cove and views of the Long Island Sound near the historic New England coastal village of Stonington, CT.
Saltwater Farm Vineyard is popular among visitors for their vinifera-based red, white and Rosé wines. It’s also a scenic wedding venue that hosts over 70 weddings annually.
NOTE: No offsite food is permitted on Saturdays.
Tasting
Flights, Wine by the Glass and Bottles are available for purchase. Sip on your wines while lounging outside on their terraced patio or in the Adirondack chairs overlooking the vineyard.
Now available for purchase in the Tasting Room, a selection of artisan cheeses and other nibbles from near and far. Also available, prepackaged cheese plates from A Thyme to Cook. Selections based upon availability.
Live Music
Live music is occasionally offered at Saltwater Farm Vineyard (call tasting room for dates).
