The Becker Family aspires to maintain the “Old World” feel at the winery. As you make your way down Becker Farms Road, alongside our estate Syrah, you arrive at the Lavender Haus, Tasting Room and Winery. Adjacent to the winery is the original homestead log cabin circa 1890. Its renovation was completed in 1997 and for years served as a charming Bed and Breakfast.
Today, the log cabin has been discontinued as a Bed and Breakfast. The welcoming hearth just inside the Tasting Room door crackles and pops with warmth on chilly days. In the Texas summer months, The Verandah of the winery, hosts an outdoor tasting bar. Have a glass and take a moment to rest in full view of the lavender fields, antique windmill and artichoke test plot. The late Former First Lady- Lady Bird Johnson- famous for her National Wildflower projects, loved our fields of native wildflowers growing on the property (and loved our Chardonnay!).
Becker Vineyards is open 7 days a week with the exception of New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Reservations are required for groups of 8 or more at both locations.
Complimentary tasting with active military identification. We thank you for your service.
Tours at the Estate Winery are offered subject to staff availability and winery production.
