Dr. Konstantin Frank Winery is one of the most prestigious and beloved wineries in the Finger Lakes. The winery’s founder, Dr. Konstantin Frank introduced vinifera (classic European grape varieties) to the region starting a winemaking renaissance in the region. Without the contributions of Dr. Frank, the Finger Lakes wine region would not be where it is today. The winery was established in 1962 and is now in its fourth generation of Frank family ownership.
Over the past fifty years, Dr. Konstantin Frank’s wines have consistently been featured in some of the most prestigious wine publications in the country. The winery’s tasting room overlooks beautiful Keuka Lake and some of the oldest vinifera vineyards in the U.S. A visit to the Dr. Konstantin Frank Winery is steeped with four generations of history and education. We offer several different tasting experiences to allow each guest to choose their preferred method of tasting. Combine our quality wines with spectacular views and one of the most knowledgeable tasting room staff in the Finger Lakes, and you’re sure to have an unforgettable experience!

Once arriving to Dr. Konstantin Frank Winery guests will be greeted by one of our hosts who will explain our several tasting experiences which allow each guest the best possible tasting of our world-class wines. A brief overview of each experience is listed here.
The Dr. Konstantin Frank Tasting Room: We offer a Complimentary Tasting from a curated selection of wines which will give you an introduction to our wines, with both dry and sweet options to choose from.

The 1962 Reserve Tasting: This tasting offers guests an intimate and personalized tasting experience. The room is located inside the original home of Dr. Konstantin Frank. Guests can choose wines from our entire list, including our most premium wines from reserve and limited releases. The in-depth educational tasting is led by our most senior wine educator staff.

The Terrace at 1886: Open June through October, savor Dr. Konstantin Frank wines with local cheese pairings on the 1886 outdoor terrace overlooking Keuka Lake. The terrace is located on the rooftop adjacent to the 1886 Reserve Room and offers a stunning view of the historic Dr. Konstantin Frank vineyards and Keuka Lake bluff.

The 1886 Food and Wine Experience: Open May through October, the 1886 Reserve Room caters to those with a deeper interest in the Dr. Frank winemaking and viticultural program. Visits are available by reservation only and include a 30-minute in-depth viticultural or cellar experience, followed by a seated educational wine flight paired with creative, small foods. Advance reservations required.
