Today, Gainey Vineyard and Winery comprise an important part of my family’s agricultural operations, and we’re fortunate to have vineyards that yield enough high-quality fruit to estate bottle all our wines. My wife, Diane, and I are proud that our son and daughters, the fourth generation of Gaineys in the Santa Ynez Valley, are continuing our family’s tradition of farming and winemaking in this most beautiful region of California.
We invite you to come visit us the next time you’re in Santa Barbara wine country. Our beautiful Spanish-style tasting room is open daily from 10AM – 5PM, with the last tasting offered at 4:30PM.
Picnic tables are available on the Vineyard View Lawn, where guests are welcome to enjoy the beautiful setting along with their wine.

If you want to take your wine tasting knowledge to the next level, we invite you to try our one-of-a-kind Signature Tastings. It's an in-depth experience that will take your knowledge of wine to another level while enjoying a gourmet cheese/charcuterie platter.
1. Blindfold Tasting: taste five Limited Selection wines blindfolded using your sense of smell to determine what you're tasting.
2. Vertical of Library Wines: taste several vintages of a particular wine.
3. Barrels to Bottles: a comparative tasting of current release limited selection wines tasted alongside wines directly from the barrel.
